Modals of Necessity: Must / Have to=πρέπει

Must=υποχρέωση εσωτερική (καταλαβαίνω κι εγώ οτι αυτή είναι μια σώστή / ηθική υποχρέωση)

I must always tell the truth.

Have to=υποχρέωση εξωτερική (κάποιος άλλος μου το επιβάλλει, και είμαι αναγκάσμενος να υπακούσω)

I have to be at work at 9 am.

BE CAREFUL!!!

MUSTN'T = δεν πρέπει (δηλαδή απαγορεύεται)

We mustn't destroy school property.

ΑΛΛΑ:

DON'T HAVE TO=δεν είναι ανάγκη, δε χρειάζεται να...

I don't have to study tonight. It's Saturday tomorrow.

I don't have to study=δε χρειάζεται να μελετήσω...
